           PT. Duta Kalingga Pratama organized a gathering event exclusive to customers and prospective clients of the Company’s Batam Branch on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Weeks prior, invitations were sent to said customers and prospective clients of the surrounding Riau Islands Province. The event itself which took place at the Best Western Hotel Batam was attended by 53 participants from various different business lines.

           The gathering event started at 18:00 with a dinner, which gradually shifted to a get-together meeting between clients, prospects, and staff. Once supper-time ended, the audience were directed to a product demo and presentation of the latest Solutions from our partner, Zebra Technologies. Through the displays of the product and the following workshop/seminar, participants gained insight on the newest releases from our partner and how it could help them in their own respective industries. At the end of the event, the door prize winners were announced and each winner received their winnings. The event slowly winded down and officially ended at 20:00.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Definition and Explanation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
          &#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           According to ooe.com (2021), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is the best standard created for measuring equipment productivity in various industries such as manufacturing. It identifies the amount of time that the equipment is completely/fully productive. When measured through a score between 0% to 100%, an OEE score of 100% means you are manufacturing at the highest rate of productivity, where the rate of task completion is at its fastest, with no single Stop Time. The three factors that rate an equipment’s OEE is generally seen through its Quality, Performance, and Time, which are all graded in percentages between 0-100. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           An OEE score of 100% means you are manufacturing only Good Parts, as fast as possible, with no Downtime. Generally, OEE scores differ depending on the size of your company, but the best case for a MNC’s around 85% in terms of total OEE. The definition of each factor is seen below:

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Availability - It takes into account the amount of Unplanned and Planned Stops the equipment faces. An Availability score of 100% means the process is always running during Planned Production Time, a score lower would mean that the equipment is subjected to more unplanned downtimes (breakdowns).
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Performance - It takes into account the amount of Slow Cycles and Small Stops that the equipment faces. A Performance score of 100% means when the process is running it is running as fast as possible. A score lower would mean there are times where the equipment lags or slows down its rate of productivity.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Quality - It takes into account the Defects (including parts that need Rework) that the equipment produces. A Quality score of 100% means there are no Defects (only Good Parts are being produced). A score lower would mean there are times where the equipment fails to properly complete its task (ex. Misaligned cuts on a good).

    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

Automatic Vertical Storage System is a vital part of the model logistic system, with the consideration of limited space quantity, management control, flexibility, and reliability. The first implemented step for automation in material handling was Automatic guided vehicle is in use after 1950. The Carousels storage system also widely used for picking small, less weight, and commonly used materials. At the stage first, much-improved efficiency and solidity system was AVSS. Storage handling is a vital function in the automation system. Automated vertical storage systems generally used in industries, warehouses, and the primary function which is involved in this system.

The automatic vertical storage system consists of ninety racks with it, which reduces the space in an industry which can be used for installing the other purposes like installing more instruments to perform manufacturing operations, it is easy to identify and get the latest part which has to perform first.
