Wax/Resin quality for premium applications

The main features of wax-resin range are the high quality of its performances and its wide field of applications. This range of ribbons gives excellent results on coated papers and synthetics (PE, PP, PET…). It has good resistance to smudge, is capable of printing barcodes at 90° and has sharp definition. This range is recognized for the exceptional quality of its backcoating, which gives good protection to the print head.


Grades:
  1. Premium Wax Resin: DKP-E6
    The ink provides excellent printing quality for all types of barcodes, very small text, large character and logos.
    The ribbon structure allows printing on a wide range of receptor such as uncoated and coated paper and synthetics.
    The printed image offers a good level of smudge resistance combined with heat resistance up to 100°C.
  2. Premium Extra Wax Resin: DKP-E+; DKP-MMDA
    The ribbon structure allows printing on a wide range of receptor from coated paper to synthetics.
    The printed image offers very high smudge and scratch resistance combined with heat resistance up to 150°C.

Resin quality for super premium applications

Resin ribbon range is made up of high technology products that are particularly recommended for synthetic label materials (PE, PP, PET). These high performance products are highly resistant: resistant to smudge, resistant to high temperature, to solvents and to some detergents. Some are adapted for specific applications (printing on textiles for example).

Grades:

  1. Premium Resin: DKP-MMDC; DKP-L+
    Dedicated to applications requiring a perfect printing quality and excellent mechanical resistance.
    The ribbon structure allows printing on many kinds of synthetics (PVC, PET, PE, PP) on various matt and high gloss coated paper and even on some uncoated paper.
    The printed image offers an excellent smudge and scratch resistance and good heat resistance up to 180°C
  2. Premium Extra Resin: DKP-L8
    The ribbon structure allows printing on many kinds of synthetics (PVC, PET, PE, PP) on various matt and high gloss coated paper and even on some uncoated paper.
    The printed image offers an excellent smudge and scratch resistance and good heat resistance up to 250°C
  3. Premium Extra Resin: DKP-N+; DKP-D110A
    Specifically developed to print textile labels, also called care labels
    The ribbon structure allows printing on most of textile labels present on
    the market on various material such as nylon, polyester, acetate
    The printed image offers an excellent resistance to washing (home,
    industrial, bleach) to dry cleaning and to ironing.
Wax – Standard Quality

For standard applications, Wax quality : DKP- W2, DKP-W4, DKP-W6, DKP-W+. The wax range is an economical identification solution dedicated for flat head technology. Its main feature is that it can be used on a wide range of label materials and is suitable for both vellum and coated papers. This range is recognized as being exceptionally sensitive and densely black. The quality of the backcoating gives excellent protection to the print head. The wax range is particularly remarkable for its good resistance to smudge.

Grades:

  1. Standard Wax: DKP-W2; DKP-W4; DKP-W6; DKP-ODD
    The ribbon structure allows printing on all kinds of papers.
    This feature makes the ribbon highly recommended to the standard labelling market.
    Printing is also possible onto various synthetics.
    The printed image offers heat resistance up to 60°C.
    Those characteristics remain at speeds up to 300 mm/s (12 ips), and with 200, 300 and 600 DPI printheads.
  2. Enhanced Wax: DKP-W+; DKP-EDD
    The ribbon structure allows printing on various receptors, such as coated and uncoated
    papers and some synthetics.
    The printed image offers improved smudge resistance compared to standard wax and heat resistance up to 100°C (212°F).
    These characteristics remain at speeds up to 300 mm/s (12 ips) and with 200, 300 and 600 DPI printheads
